Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving, what can I say... well I guess not much really since I helped prepare a big thanksgiving party and then proceeded to work all the way through it :)

But I guess I can start at the central ingredient... which I will forgive you if you thought that this was the turkey :) ...since now days I am pretty uninhibited without the addition of alcohol. I thought I would start with what others were into... and after much hype I kind of have to start with a sampler pack concocted by Richard from...

...And if you head down stairs to the Beaver Liquing Cellar here you will find our resident Beaver Liquor Connoirsseur...

...at first I thought my camera would not focus down there but now I am thinking perhaps it was alcohol fumes because at Apple Jacks I found this particular bottle of wine priced at $2199...
...And was not at all suprised considering it would require a PALLET-JACK to wheel it out of the store! But what I was suprised at, was Beaver Liquors had this little baby just laying around mixed in with all the regular 'couple-hundred$' bottles of wine...

Now I could not get this photo any bigger, but believe me when I read out its price tag... $2,399!!! ...Not to mention the first time I went to stand it up I actually dropped it :) ...oh well second time lucky :D
Then when I came accross this particular range, I had to take the next photo on, for Hilton :)
...Because I could swear that you must have written the 'copy' or some-one over here has been 'boosting' your material :D...
"Temperance, Like Chastity, Is Its Own Punnishment!"
Meanwhile down in the dungeon, party preparations were feverishly underway!
...Beware: Men at Work...
...don't be deceived by the hair in the middle, like the dude in the ski shop that asked myself and Cat (from behind us) if we ladies required a hand... Luckily he too had long hair, but he was very apologetic :) Long hair on guy's is quite rare up here! Uninfluenced, I am still planning on cutting my hair back to jaw length when I can find some extra cash... it hasn't really suited me since it grew past that length. Its handy to tie back long, but I don't want to wear it permenantly tied back.

...Me... Who took this photo???
...Me, in all black cos I am half dressed for my 13:30-0:30 staff shuttle shift... which required lots of driving around in circles and bumming food from all the various parties at Buffalo, Kayak & Edwards Office :D
And Under Brooke's not so close or strict supervision... Donalds Masterpiece...
Now I am still not sure if this was... bacon wrapped turkey? OR a turkey stuffed Pig??? ...But either way it tasted fantastic!!!
