Welcome to Vail

From DIA 18:30 10/31/08 (USdate, but same day) my trip seemed to be constantly down hill, as I wandered in and out of consciousness I seemed to wake up only on the down hill stretches of road. But I still managed to climb 2km above sea level to arrived at Colorado Mountain Express main office in Edwards. But only to find that no one was expecting me (even though they had sent a shuttle for me:) ...that my lease had been not been left or organised yet, and I had nowhere to sleep!!! Welcome to the Valley :D

My first nights accomodation

One of our Dispatchers and a Driver scrounged around and found a key to some rooms above the companies service station which was also connected to a Wendy's! (Which I visited for breakfast the next moning...) and afterwards took some photo's of 'Base' from my tempory lounge room window.
